Our Story 

PMU Professional Make-Up was founded by renowned make-up artist and educator Joy Terri, whose passion for professional makeup began during her studies in London. Inspired by international techniques and products that were not yet available in South Africa, she returned home with a vision of bringing professional makeup artistry to local women.

Through her work as a makeup artist, educator, author, and founder of one of South Africa's leading makeup schools, Joy helped thousands of women and aspiring artists discover the power of professional makeup. Her commitment to education, quality, and innovation laid the foundation for the PMU brand.

Today, PMU continues under the leadership of Lizél Harris, who proudly carries forward the legacy established by Joy. While the beauty industry continues to evolve, PMU remains committed to providing professional-quality makeup, expert knowledge, and innovative products that help women look and feel their best.
